Meet Shea.

I founded In Good Hands Acupuncture with a desire to provide gentle yet effective care to support you in your healing. I believe in the power of Chinese medicine to bring whole system nourishment, integrating the body and the mind and treating the core of our imbalances. I found acupuncture on my own navigation through various health issues and found that this slow, root cause medicine provided me with impactful and sustained results. I was inspired to go through the process in hopes to offer you the same experience that I had.

I like working with various physical and mental health presentations, whether acute or chronic. I am particularly drawn to working with emotional conditions such as grief + loss, anxiety and depression, and supporting people in big life transitions. I also enjoy working with orthopedic, hormonal and digestive issues. Acupuncture can and does treat most everything. Chinese Medicine can often support people who have largely felt misunderstood or unsupported by other systems of healthcare. I enjoy collaborating with other providers and being a part of a care team. If I am unfamiliar with your diagnosis, I will learn about them to be able to best support you. In each treatment, I do my best to listen to your body and to allow your body to be our guide. I would be honored to work with you.
